State-Approved Four-Hour Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course
Our Parent Education and Family Stabilization course is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and will meet your court requirement. In Community Counseling offers in-person classes as required by Courts. The Florida DCF works hard to support the stabilization of families, not only for those involved but for the communities around them. And we are all about community at In Community Counseling!

This course is four hours long and is taken at our office.
It is available on a number of weekends, depending on demand. Inquire for upcoming dates.
Certificate presented upon completion.
This course DOES satisfy a court-requested requirement – though it is open to all!
This course is required by the state of Florida for parents from the Department of Children and Families (DCF) or the concerned parties to obtain a divorce when there are children involved.
Parents or caregivers may also take this course to learn about the impacts divorce can have on their family, as well as the best way to handle the difficult transition or gain tools for challenges they are currently experiencing with the children in their lives.

Since confident, decisive parents tend to raise confident, secure children, parenting classes can give you a much-needed skillset and help decrease your feelings of anxiety. Mastering the basics and diving more deeply into your specific challenges is well worth the time.
